For sale: McIntosh C26 Stereo Preamplifier – Fully Serviced Recapped with Nichicons Manual
Solid-state stereo preamplifier in fully restored working condition.
The unit has been completely recapped with high-quality Nichicon capacitors, all potmeters have been professionally cleaned, and both standby power and DC issues have been repaired, ensuring stable, noise-free operation.
Cosmetically, it has minor damage: a few spots on the front panel where the glass glue has separated, along with some scratches. Nothing affects functionality, but it is visible up close.
A strong performer with the classic McIntosh sound, ready for daily use or as part of a collector setup.
Condition: Minor cosmetic damage including small scratches and slight glue separation on the front glass. Fully recapped with Nichicon capacitors, potmeters cleaned, and standby/DC circuit repaired. Fully functional and tested.
