Akai

The vintage Akai AP-D30 Direct-Drive Auto Return Turntable, manufactured between 1980-1982, is characterized by its robust design and precise playback capabilities. The aluminium alloy diecast platter, coupled with a direct-drive system and a DC servo motor, ensures stable rotation and accurate speed control at both 33 and 45rpm. The turntable's low wow and flutter of 0.035% and an impressive rumble rating of 70dB contribute to its excellent playback performance and signal clarity. The static balance tonearm, featuring an effective length of 220mm, provides accurate tracking, while the adjustable stylus pressure (0 to 3g) and cartridge weight (4 to 12g) offer flexibility for various cartridges. With thoughtful design elements like a 15mm overhang and a 22.5-degree offset angle, the Akai AP-D30 demonstrates a commitment to precision in vinyl playback during the early 1980s.

The turntable is in very good condition. Despite the age it shows very ;little signs of usage. The dustcover does have some usage marks but the player looks really good.

Player has been tested and is fully functional, plays very stable.

Turntable is equiped with audio technica element
